I think the most satisfying experience I had was not really using a plugin but DAW routing, both in Live and Reaper.
Reaper seemed the most stable, pretty much sending a track to a second 'delay' track then sending it back. On this track you'd have a delay (in reaper I'd stack wet-only readelays, max 10 secs each) and any character/tape effects. Hours of fun.
do we have frippertronix tape emulations ?

Yeah, that’s confusing, but evidently talking about the installer, not the plugin.

Wow. You are not kidding. Augustus Loop looks like a poorly rated WinAmp skin from 1999.its one of the worst looking pieces of commercial software I've ever seen.wasi wrote: Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:25 am Augustus Loop still has the most hideous UI of all times.
There's also Enso by Audio Damage that allows for loop decay (or not):

An Augustus Loop skin a little easier on the eyes.

I just watched a rig rundown, apparently Robert's using Eventides for looping.
A pair of H8000's no less, nice budget he's working on.

He also runs quad into FOH, so he has surround looping capabilities.
