I wish I would find a virus a rom somewhere as that was the virus I owned.

BTW I don't have the arp problem in Cubase 11 that was mentioned a few posts back.

Got 24 instances up all triggering at once on my Ryzen 5950x with the latest build , moving through chords on both hands without drop outs running the VIRUS C ROM …. RME Raydats set to 512 samples. My pal on a 12 core 2011 Mac Pro couldn't get 1 instance running at 1024 sample latency with Safire 56 interface. I guess those old xeons don’t have the clock speed.

Just wondering, but, why the high buffer size? Do you get crackles when you set it lower?

I got slightly less polyphony before crackles at 256 samples. My pal with the Mac Pro couldn’t get one instance to load at 1024 samples and didn’t try anything lower. I should mention my tests were with Cubase 11.04 on Windows 10 , my pal with the Mac was using Reason.

I got at least 10 voices of polyphony using patch 3 of ROM A . This wasn’t a scientific test. My pal with his old Mac Pro couldn’t even load a preset as his CPU was pinned. I hope that helps. The OS, processor and audio card were given in the previous post.

As far as I know Virus B and C. They are concentrating on the Virus B and C until they clean it up and get it working well before starting with another synth emulation. They discord talks about this but they haven't announced the next likely candidate.
