Got some cheeks as an early b-day gift to me from me. They don't make it sound better (or do they?!?)

And I've got my decksaver on the Microfreak. I'm not a fan of decksavers, but I'm glad they make them. This little monitor riser that I'm using as a shelf, within a shelf, I picked up for $20. It serves a great space-saving purpose.

^^ Yay cheeks! I only have a couple things that can use cheeks, I have yet to pony up for any of them.
They look great! I may have to look into that.

I'm not a fan of the name :scared: but does good work and seems to be a noisemaker too.

Thanks, I do like the microcosm cheeks. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have a Pro 3 or an S2400.
Fortunately, others do make wooden cheeks for them, especially Isla Instruments who has a
range of them for the S2400 I believe.

Heh I got inspired by those wooden cheeks and made this creepy pedal board. Took about 45 mins
I guess. Of course, I had all the materials laying around... :borg:

The cheeks are actually hand milled, because I did that some time ago for some reason, I just cut
it into cheeks.

I'm of course still searching for an unthought of and unrealistic option to reorganize everything in a way that will give me space for Blue Marvin.

I mean, Blue Marvin is still less than Strega! :help:
(remove some of those books)

I do like the cheeks. Along those lines, I just picked this up for my NTS-1:

Gives it a little more heft, and a lot more class, IMHO.

I almost went that route. I picked up the acrylic casing with photo backing and popped on some Chase Bliss knobs.

Now they (Sweet Cheeks) have a great name. :tu:

I know right? Some of the books (not shown) are now going for more than a Blue Marvin too.

I have a whole shelf full of books that are not worth much except for the experience of reading them once. There are 3 I can't bring myself to read and another 3 that I started, but finished on the Kindle.

Hmm... Maybe I can make this work. :borg:

That "creepy" pedalboard is basically all I wanted a while back. Just a single row, a slight angle with something to keep them from slipping because I was opposed to using velcro at the time (but gave up on that for the small nano board I use).

Right now I need a small stand, enclosure thing to house a Roland cube on the bottom and the Positive Grid Spark on top... with some legs on the bottom to give the illusion of more space. I wish I could make my own because what I want is dead simple, but apparently simple costs a premium it's already built.

I do like it, it's perfect for what I needed. I was going to go down an buy a small fender board
at the local music shop for $169. This cost me $0, though I do need to run down and buy a gator
power supply or something for it. Some of these damn pedals do actually need to be operated
with your feet. Namely my Boss Looper, Kill Switch and the Vezzpa.

The hardware store will cut the wood for you, you just need to plan it out. Glue it, if you don't want to have to drill any straight holes. Wood glue makes a stronger joint than these stainless deck screws I used actually.

btw: I just use this hobby saw mostly, a Dremel Ultra Saw. It's compact, easy to deploy and use.
It's great, it can cut metal, ceramic tile, plastic etc. An abrasion saw so it's super easy to handle.
I have better saws, but only use them when I need precision or for thicker wood. With this saw
you are limited to 3/4 in board pretty much. For this pedal board, I just used division and
eyeballed it. I always use a marking knife rather than a pencil to make my cut lines which makes things simple.

Guess who's getting a f**king Blue Marvin!!!!!!!!

ME!

Great deal overseas from gear4music. I talked it over with the missus and she's on board. She knows I've always wanted this and how out of reach it was before Behringer, then the space issue... but thankfully she loves a good deal almost as much as she loves me. We will figure out the space. This might be time to let go of Jabba the Hutt SDCC 2014 just to make space. :(

At nearly half the price of the nts-1!
