Hello,

I recently got down into the rabbit hole of library music and there is so much to discover - some really great music out there.
There is this morning TV show from the time of my childhood that uses some really great instrumental track , that resembles the 70-80's TV sitcom's intros - at least that how i would define it. Really want to find what is the exact music , author, etc. I guess it might be library music , but just a guess.

It is the first track that is 00:00 to 00:12 ; and then the jingle that appears at 00:44 to 00:51 after the girl speaking

Really great instrumental track?! Sounds more like cheap TV music made by no-name musicians. It would already be difficult to find out details if it were from the West, but that seems to be a Russian(?) program...

I assume you speak Russian, so you are much more likely than us to find out anything...

A couple of Tangerine Dream tracks can be heard in the background..but not what you are referring to I think.
Some of my music Soundcloud Goseba

I identified it the language as bulgarian, is it correct?

I would start with googling something like "bulgarian instrumental ensemble (ансамбъл)", "[name of the studio that emitted TV show] instrumental ансамбъл" etc. All that in bulgarian language, using terminology popular back in TV shows' times.

I think you have better chances of finding it, if you could post this on some bulgarian sub-reddit.

Nostalgia is exactly why we often think something of the past was great, when in reality it wasn't. What is great is the memories we associate wit it.

Its called library music , i don't know what you inferring to the definiton of cheap , except the low quality of the video and audio in this clip. Aside from that the track is fire!
Library labels had composers prepare similar TV idents in couple of variations for throughout a specific show that would eventually licence the music and use it as its own jingle.
If cheap stands for contrast to today's standards of overproduced derivative crap, yes i understand is not very hi-fi sounding with the coolest plugins and whatever :D

Its a musical piece with a soul, that's what i hear at least.

I assumed , since there are many musicians and audiophiles here, someone that knows it from somewhere else, could identify it.
It sounds pretty western to me , in terms of musical aesthetics and the corresponding context of the time. The program is bulgarian, but im pretty sure it was licensed from a library music label.

Do you know what are these Tangerine Dream tracks too ?
I assumed there are some that sound more like Lazer Dance or some synthwave from that era ?

Thanks all!

I think it is Gaudi Park from around 19 seconds in.
Optical Race from around 50 seconds in and then again a little later..
Not sure if there is a fraction of a second of Choronzon too around 12 seconds.

I recognise the music at 1.06 but can't think of the name of it. Maybe from a track from the album Legion by Mark Shreeve.

I hope that helps.

Wow, im speechless, you recognized all of the electronic synthwave tracks in this video...
now if i could only find out the instrumental [kinduv 'big-band'-ish] stuff [im aware it's not a big-band, its just my association with it, because of the prominent brass sections in the parts i pointed out in my op]

I had forgotten how interesting Tangerine Dream stuff actually is.
Thanks for your time to listen and reply, I appreciate it!

Yes, indeed, its that exact track that appears as an ident @ ~ 00:58 of the video..
Thanks for that, buddy.

Does Shazam recognize the orchestral jingles right at the beginning to 00:12 and then the other one from 00:44 to about 00:51 ?

Not when I did it, but it's worth a shot doing it over your own speakers.
