Dude. Sucks to be you.
ah not really, it's amazing how many little jobs around the house I can no longer do....
Hmm. Excellent point.

"Honey, where's the ladder? I wanted to clean the gutters but I can't find the ladder?"

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Most missed, of all time, is my crummy Teac 4-track
quarter inch deck. I did so much more with that thing than I do now with all the resources in the world at my disposal.

I too wish that I still had my Teac 4 Track, if only so that I could listen to all the old tapes I've got.. But my real answer is the Korg Mono-Poly.. I only had one for a short while but I felt instantly at home with it.. loved that thing..
[Edit] .. with perhaps my heavilly modified EDP wasps in 2nd place.

My perfect pair.

That's right, my type 3AN Vic Firth American Classic nylon-tipped hickories.

I still own them, but due to repeated display damage I no longer use them with DR-008, Redrum, or SampleTank.

Really ought to dig out the ancient Roland Pad-5 some day. That might help.

I actually wish I still had my Nord Lead 2 and Roland S-330. It was much more fun to program sounds on the nord than any softsynth I have owned.

Other than that as long as I get a hollowbody electric soon I will have all I could ever want or need.

My beloved and missed Alesis Piano Plus Quadra Synth.

The 76 key controller plus the Piano and Rhodes sounds always brought tears to my eyes  To think I picked it up from a Guitar Center special close out price of just $800 back in late 97' :-o  :-o

I was getting down with my baby for over six years until a few months ago, it didn't power on anymore.
Zilch! Dead! just like that.

Since that day, I been left heart broken but at the same time, I know deep inside . . .I defintely got my money's worth out of her. :hihi:

I still have the body, uh . . .er I mean board. :hihi: I wonder if I sent it back to Alesis, they could bring my girlie back to life??? :hyper:

Man that would be unreal if I can get her moving again!

I miss my Yamaha VL70m. It was really expressive when played with a breath controller. Sold it while unemployed in favor of eating.

to varrying degrees, i miss a lot of things i've sold over the years...but the one i miss the most is my first bass.

it was an early, used, black, headless, fretless, 4 string honer steinberger copy with an ebony fingerboard (rather rare for those basses) and cheep emg selects. not that it was the greatest bass in the world, but it was my first one. i sold it many years ago after i had switched to 5 strings and i needed the money for a new amp.

my current fretless is a wonderfull, redwood topped, 5 string peavey cirrus...which of course blows away that old honer...but, for sentimental reasons, i would love to have that bass back. a few months after i sold it, the new owner took the bass with him to berklee in boston. i've no idea where it is (or who has it) now.

My Roland Juno 6. I was 15 when I got it, and didn't know what I had. I think I paid like $155 for it. Spent a winter week shoveling snow and breaking up ice after a particularly bad snowstorm to buy it.

Anyhow, when my old band went bye bye, somebody lifted my Juno from our rehearsal spot.

if you don't know, the mirage had a very similar 'feature,' (dsk-8, a rack unit i tried didn't) loop points are hex values, edited w/ buttons, so not especially friendly but if editing loop vals while playing in the loop, you'd get a random loop from anywhere within that sample for each setting (eg. keep changing settings to produce garble) dead sure it's used on 'brap,' whichever track is called something about pneumatic drills :p
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

I miss my ASR-10 and DP/4 combination as I had an incredible guitar instrument that I have converted to SF2 but I can't get close to the same sound I had for it in the ASR. I don't think Awave does a very good job with Ensoinq files.
