Valhalla and Abbey Road Chambers.
Valhalla uses less cpu.

I remember in concept liking an older lexicon reverb too with that classification.

Arturia Rev Plate-140 is also my favorite. It has the "DRIVE" knob and I like it.
And... yeah so many people are suggesting the Valhalla Plate and VintageVerb. These are superb too.

THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Arturia sounds somewhat boxy, imo.

I don't own a UAD anymore, but this is one of the few plugins i'm actually missing a bit.
Soundtoys little plate sound actually somewhat close, so maybe check that one out if you haven't. But of course it has way less tweaking options. I always hope for a big brother of little plate.

Might be, i actually only checked a few other native solutions quite a while back, which were highly regatded though.
Sound Toys is a no no for me though because of their choice of copy protection.

For me it is Lunar Lander which also included a BBD delay but its also still my favourite plate reverb.

Valhalla Plate... good on CPU, easy to use and effortlessly sounds good

OldSkoolVerb is better than most, but the HiCut needs some tweaking. As I'm its author, no arguing on my side. Voxengo is not in the rooster of most youtubers... :hihi:

That's a norm. :) ~6500 plugins in KVR database, unbelievable compared to 20 years ago. 600 entries in "EQ" category alone. Yet the "influencers" iterate through the usual suspects again and again.

Your “problem“ is simply that you don't use photo realistic GUIs of convincingly vintage looking gear which was used on Michael Jackson's Thriller…

And please… don't do it… ever! :tu:
