No, I don't mean RMX 2...
What have you had your eye on that never quite reaches the top of your list? Please share your answer(s).
Here are a couple of mine that I've wanted for years, but never quite get around to purchasing:
Nine Volt's awesome REX collection for Stylus. It's not exorbitant and I've wanted it since before it became such a great deal. Why haven't I ever gotten around to getting it? I don't know. Something else always seems more pressing. Maybe I will grab it after I post this!
The Airline Bighorn in green. I've wanted one of these forever (8, 9, 10 years?). Now they have them in other colors, too, making the decision all the more difficult. In the meantime, I'm sure I've bought at least 3 other electrics since I first saw this, and combined they don't have as much personality.

Every year for about 5 years I've said I'll get a Telecaster but something else always seems to come up or I can't get my hands on the right one.

A good old classic Fender American Jazz V bass (Ultra, Elite, or Pro) in classic tobacco sunburst has been on my wishlist for a few decades now, but I haven't played bass in a band since the early 2000s. I recently starting playing with a few coworkers/friends again who are regularly gigging musicians, so I might pull the trigger if we keep it going...

I got out of pedals entirely for a second time and have told myself I'm not going back, but I still kind of want a Shallow Water
Several years ago I heard a demo of a Frostwave Blue Ringer ringmod pedal and it blew me away. I have never heard that kind of sound from ringmod ever since. But... $350-$400 for a ringmod pedal, when they're even available?
Strega might be perpetually on my wanted list. I don't really have studio space for one more thingy -- some of my gear is pretty awkwardly placed as it is. I'm not sure it make sense to sell off anything I have now to make the room for it. But the curiosity still burns even after telling myself at least three times that I'm just not going to buy one. What I might need is a studio rearrange
I played a Moog Grandmother at Knobcon in 2019 and regretted it immediately because I want one and there's even less room for that. The guy at the booth says "if you like that you should try the Matriarch!" and I almost said "do you enjoy making people cry?"

(i think it would fit your aesthetic from what i know of your set up and what ive heard, there's plenty in the weird little bugger that you could easily make use of) (damn, ive said too much

Yeah, when I first was hearing demos I was like "Tony and Alessandro designed a synth just for me!"

API console. I dream of a 2448 or AXS but it's a long way off, if it will ever happen.

Araya Piezothing, though it hasn't been on the list for that long. Gotta wait for the V3 release.
And a Rhodes, which has been on my list since 1989 but I'm not that serious about it. Would be fun, but probably not worth the various hassles.

at the scrabble site i play at, i been wishing for years for "true blitz" to exist.
many times i asked the site owner to "please make it exist".
but the site owner is not a true blitzer and never will be?
blitz right now doesn't require players to be faster to win.
in other words it is pseudo blitz.
pseudo blitz gives players time to cheat.
real blitz would cripple cheaters.
plus, it would be funner because faster is always funner?
that's why they don't make movies like "the slow and the unfurious" starring vin edsel?
