I wanted to have a more "fitting" bass for hip-hop than Secret Agent Bass. And here it is. This is the same bass as the free Fashionbass sample library from years ago, but with a much warmer sound - different strings and not plucked as hard. I tried to do some recordings with some people back in December, but with Christmas and stuff they didn't have time, so that gave me the perfect chance to make this bass library.
It's something of a one-and-a-half trick pony. No slap, no hammer-ons, no sampling every fret on every string. Instead you get ghost notes, regular and phat plucks, and six velocity layers on the regular plucks. So, there's detailed sampling where I think it's important for the way I'd play tracks in this style in real life. It adds up to over 2400 samples and 1.2 GB.
$19 regular price, $9 intro price until February 25th. Get it at https://shop.karoryfer.com/products/beefowulf-bass

Great sound, great price, no complaints here. I've been looking for a bass guitar sound that would sit well in a jungle track - full and fat without being "sludgy" and overimposing and this fits. Thanks man!

I'll admit I've never played on any jungle tracks, but glad you like it! Post the track if it's done.

Yeah the majority of jungle tracks use synth bass, which I don't mind. But every once in a while someone would use bass guitar on a track, and my ears would perk up. We'll see what happens!
