Tonight i was bored, took a loop from Groove Agent SE and said lets open
Transfuser as an Inster Effect, not as an Instrument...and Holy Smokes!!!
i have not heard anything better...guys you don't know what you missing
for the ones who have it, the Compressor, BeatCutter, KillEQ, Enhancer and
Tube Drive are the most amazing creative Plugins i have heard, i never
tried before to use it as an Effect due to having a lof of VSTs. I finally know
what my FIRST Plugin will be in the chain for now on, holy crap.
A little tip for the ones who do not know how to use it:
When you open Transfuser as an Effect on the left side where the presets are
you will find ,,Def Audio In'' just grab it and drag it to the right in the window
and after this on top on the right side where you see 1,2,3,4 FX you have a
dropdown menu to choose effects from...from there on you are on your own :D

Yea it does some REALLY awesome stuff. Best part is you can keep stacking the effects with a minimal hit to your CPU. I could play with a loop all night on this thing!

That's awesome. I was going through the Groove3 tutorial on Transfuser and completely skipped the section on this thinking that I'd never use it that way. Now I'll have to try it out. Thanks :)

Currently I am in the market for a loop slicer/re-arranger and was looking at Vice, Egoist, etc. These are all on BF sale at the moment. Somehow I am not totally sold on any I have seen so far except may be Vice. So last night I re-installed Transfuser and played with it briefly. This thing is a beast. It's really good. I was a bit confused at first and watched a few YT videos. That cleared up a lot of stuff. If you are overwhelmed by the interface do note that drag and drop works in most of the areas. I am super happy now that it saved some money.

The following videos were very helpful for me:

shit, it's not that great

Shit, it is pretty great.

This is one of the plugins that AIR shouldnt let die. Transfuser is so dope! It really just needs a resizeable screen & maybe some new patterns (Im thinking different genres of music besides edm, pop, & hip-hop).

I sometimes run into strange things...like loading a project and the sample not being found...even though it is there. Anyone have a thought on this?

Otherwise, yea, I use it quite a bit still!

Aww for a second I thought it had been upgraded. :P
Never tried it as an FX though, will try it out. :tu:

im using 13' laptop and words and numbers on that plugins are too small thats make this plugin unusable. why not fix that with some gui upgrade and resize option? plugin is small and almost barely use at 24' screen but now ? mission impossible.

For years people have been begging for updated GUIs on all the Air plugins. It's almost certainly not going to happen after all this time.

I've stopped using them and I own quite a few including Transfuser. If I have to rebuild my studio computer there is a 95% chance I won't bother reinstalling any of them.

Air made some great plugins but other than compatibility updates they are all but abandoned.

The original Air development-team is basically Ujam now (and before Air they were Wizoo)
