iLok - what's your experience with asking for new activations?

As far i know - avoid for all cost. Dont get me wrong. Plugins are great but with ILOK are unusable.

I haven't had any issues with an iLok since the first generation, either using machine-based activations or using physical iLok dongles. It's just been convenient and easy for me while giving software publishers one front on a massive hydra-fight against piracy, if that keeps some of them in business and making good stuff I appreciate it frankly. I used to be more anti-iLok because I did have an issue earlier on, but man it's been like 16 years of no problems since.
