Just a question if I could...

May I ask if any of you ( by acceding https://www.xhun-audio.com ) is experiencing any bad "website window" resizing / scaling (the website window is too big) ?

If you have this issue, could you provide which system resolution and browser do you use ?

If you are not experiencing anything strange instead, and want to say "nothing strange on my side", you are definitely welcome too - so I can have a clearer view of this potential "scaling" issue.

What I mean in 1 image :

It scales wrong when I split my screen in two and load your site.
Looks like the wrong site scaling example.

- In Chrome it scales fine.
- In Edge it scales correct as well

I once had a Xoxbox, long ago, can't remember how that one responded.

I had a Xoxbox in the past and I remember the clicking drove me nuts (I sold it because of that). I don't remember my real 303 ever doing that.

First two minutes is a comparison, real 303 sound is also softer (less attack or so) as far as I can tell than the Xoxbox.



Back on topic:
Do hope Xhun can add the knob to set the attack, that may be all that's required?

Softer attack = added to the list. That's why "mods" have been introduced with tb-303.

Thank you for your feedback about the website resolution. Indeeed it seems the User who said the scaling was not correct, forgot to mention he was not running his browser at *full screen*, which is obviously required to see the website in its correct proportions / ratio / scaling.

Fiddling some more.
When starting from scratch, just something simple, it doesn't sound that clicky anymore.

I really wish there were a 1.5x option for the GUI. The 1x is too small, and the 2x is too big.

So, with the sequencer disabled, the whole mapping of velocity to slide and accent it just not working. It's very erratic. I was noticing this from my keyboard at first, so I tried running a sequence of notes in Bitwig, and maxing out velocity. No slide. No accents.

Then I tried adjusting the velocity while my loop is playing. Low and behold, I can get slide and accent, but ONLY when the velocity value is changing. Unless the value is changing, nothing happens.

If the delay timing has only two options, then why use knobs instead of switches? Got me confused at first, and I thought the delay was not working correctly before I checked the manual. Anyway more delay timing options would be appreciated.

I'm just trying the demo version and Steps is not saved when reloading a project. Is this also in the full version?

What an absolute nightmare installing this on M1 Mac with the latest OS.
Manual copying of everything to relevant folders - is that a joke?! Have Xhun heard about creating installer for macOS?
I guess not.
But this is just a beginning of the nightmare I’m afraid…
Latest version of Cubase Pro placed it promptly in blocked bin, same for Reason.
Latest version of Ableton Live was less forgiving, but I had to change my security settings to allow it to run - only AU will work…
PS; Please get in touch with Nils - free K-1 developer to give you some guidance that you really need in developing macOS apps - he is the BEST.
Bottom line, it’s total mess and disaster, feel that I have wasted my money on pre-release version 1 of beta
