I'm using Tracktion Waveform 11 Free. I created a piano track in my notation software and exported it as a MIDI file. Waveform imports that perfectly IF there are no sustain pedal (CC 64) events, but with the sustain pedal, the track imports with all kinds of extreme tempo changes. I've looked at the MIDI file in a text editor, and it seems to specify CC 64 just as expected, with a value of 127 or 0 depending if the pedal is on or off.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to correct it?
Waveform interprets MIDI CC 64 as tempo change

Jon,
There's a dedicated Tracktion forum here at KVR that the developers read, and a lot of folks with some advanced monitoring tools. They might be able to help you there...just worried that folks who can help you might miss this question.
I have *not* experienced this issue, but use a hardware sustain pedal.

And one of the developers is already troubleshooting it, as you know. Welcome to the Waveform forum. Hope to see you around.
