I bought impact off pluginboutique and it's a direct download from them instead of a code I then register on the surreal machines website. I kinda hate this, because I like having everything from one manufacturer in one place (also helps that the developer knows who I am already when there's updates with special upgrade pricing).

Now I kinda don't want to check out mod machines cause I'll need to buy it off pluginboutique again to keep everything in its right place, but then if future versions come out and there's an upgrade discount, or if Surreal Machines offer some great deal on something new on their website, I can't take advantage.

Having 3rd party websites just give codes that are redeemable on the developers website is vastly superior IMO. I'll still consider getting one or both of these maybe.

Any news about resizable GUI for Modnetic?
I notice that Diffuse has it, but it gets terrible performance in anything above 100%

Yep.

Live 11.1 rosetta2 = low fps both daw & plugin

Logic Pro latest arm = low fps plugin only

As said, 100% size works just fine.

Big Sur latest

@Surreal Machines
Please give us (working) scalable GUIs or a date when it's coming.

Yes please.

Thanks for the heads up about recent updates ... I'm subscribed but never get any notifications. I own licenses for every SM plugin (and the Live Dub Machines) and found that every single one has been updated since I last checked. :tu:

guess I'm having a moment but how do you resize the GUI?

I've clicked/right clicked on everything, can't see any drag handles...?

This is Diffuse 1.3.0, I couldn't see a more recent version on their site.

Cheers.

Edit: don't worry, found it now, in the presets dropdown(?)

Happy to announce that we just shipped updates to all our plugins with Apple Silicon support and RESIZABLE UIs. To get the free update go here: https://www.surrealmachines.com/account/downloads/

Post

To resize our UIs, open the preset menu and find it under zoom. The last size will be remembered the next time you open the plugin or a new instance of it.

are there any clues when PB are going to update their copies - I've got diffuse from Surreal direct but modnetic from PB and they're on 1.1.0

Thanks Soma, still my favourite 'space' delay, that feedback build is gorgeous.

Sound C loud
Band C amp
Clicks and pops is all I get

Thanks for the updates, but the performance is unusable with anything outside 100% zoom here. Very sluggish. Please look into this.

Installed the latest updates (all four plug-ins) on Mac OS 12.2.1 + Logic 10.7.2 + MBP M1 ... unable to open any Factory Preset from the GUI drop down menu or using Load Preset. Running in Rosetta makes the presets usable, running native M1 reverts to the described behavior. Permissions issue or bug?

update - works as expected in the VST version, only affects the AU
