Can you really tell "in the mix"? People tend to over analyze where over analyzation isn't quite required. Whatever sounds right and such....

I would say, you can tell "in the mix". Probably not guess which brand reverb it is, but there's difference, of course, depends on your experience. However, limiting yourself to a couple of best-sellers is just lazy, and in a long run I think uncompetitive.

Oh well, I'll paraphrase myself. "Can you really tell "in the mix"?" is an elliptical phrasing gone awry. What I've meant, you probably can tell which plate reverbs "blip" and which do not, which modulate and which do not, but guessing a plugin vendor may be hard. Anyway, differences may not be worthwhile to discuss, and it's more important how the mix sounds.

TAL Reverb 4 is good enough for me though
