Hall effect sensor controlling digipots! Two analogue outputs and USB! Very cool: there is no engineering like over-engineering

I got a lead foot.

(I would find the need for power supply annoying when setting up next to my live pedalboard, though. And I'm intrigued by the digipot setup; on most digipots the resolution is not that fine and audible stepping could be an issue. Doesn't seem to be a complaint here though?)

FYI: I got it for $217 shipped from Thomann, $260 in the states. Cheaper in Germany apparently, at least for us.

I got the Jackson Audio Prism today and I must say it's really quite excellent!

Seriously, an outstanding pedal to have at the front of your effects chain. The Active EQ and the different
gain circuits are all stellar. It's also amazingly heavy with a 1/8 in stainless steel enclosure, giving it an
outstanding level of fit and finish. Great stuff, highly recommended!

I think I’m getting one of these this year. I’ve been wanting an upgrade over my H4, but the Zoom range seems overdue for an update.

The ASMR setting seems odd, but I’d market the same way since it’s become popular.

My pedalboard is running off one of those: HX Effects, Kraken V4 tube preamp and a bunch of dirt pedals. The DC7 is expensive but small, clean and powerful. (The high-power stuff is using two parallel outputs, while a GigRig isolator distributes one of the outputs to four dirt pedals.)

I honestly didn’t realize the Cioks 8 was an expander for the 7. I don’t need it now either (cioks 7, cioks 4 & cioks/eventide powermax) but good to know.

It’s scary seeing it listed on Amazon because next to the frequently bought together suggestion for the 7, 8 and 4 is the price… $547. Yeah, please don’t remind me that it costs as much as a noise maker or hardware effect.

But they have been all solid good/flexible buys.

but it makes the sexy stuff, sexier. (like lingerie i guess) but you can't just order a power supply, you have to order a pedal too, or the delivery is boring
