Sudden loss of DAW envy

I'm worried. I haven't been tempted or even interested in checking out another DAW in a while. Maybe I've just stopped expecting mine to behave like my former DAWs and simply appreciate it for what it is? Could I actually be satisfied? I'd ask for help, but I think I'm actually happy like this. Never mind.

You're not alone. 2 days ago, I installed Mixcraft, Waveform and Live just to find myself uninstalling them 40 minutes later, noodling with each for like 10 minutes (hmmm... those lovely, lovely demo songs).
Time well spent.
Now off to another reverb shootout...

I still occasionally get DAW envy looking at Cubase and Studio One, but all the DAW hopping earlier was exhausting.
Live is all I’m using and it works well because I know where everything is (most of the time).

I quit daw hopping ages ago....now if I could just stop buying plugins, guitars, amps, stompboxes and studio hardware. But alas.....I am a helpless victim of G.A.S.....LOL!!

I tried Bitwig and Studio One for a couple of years as I got sick and tired of some aspects of Reaper. I've now sold them both - great DAWs but none do anything I need more than Reaper does nor do they have better workflows for what I do. Both are great DAWs tho but I just decided it was better to really get to know one DAW and leave it at that, the "appreciate it for what it is"
Would love to be able to sell off half of everything else I own as well but that market has collapsed and lots of devs dont allow sales anyway, as annoys us all. So I am gradually deleting all that crap and pretending I never bought it

Just stay with the DAW you are using now or go back to the one you used to use before?
