Neutron 3 has a lot more functions compared to Sonible EQ. Don't know which one is better from purely an EQ perspective, but for me a no brainer (in the sell&buy forum it's often sold for € 50 or less).
Edit: only $ 25 (viewtopic.php?f=43&t=577509&p=8346215&h ... n#p8346215)

Tried both and personally prefer Neutron 3 because of the versatility

Thanks for the answers, I think I'll go for Neutron.Dark Fiber wrote: Tue Feb 15, 2022 2:03 pm Neutron 3 has a lot more functions compared to Sonible EQ. Don't know which one is better from purely an EQ perspective, but for me a no brainer (in the sell&buy forum it's often sold for € 50 or less).

Really? I have both and never use Neutron. Smart:EQ has this cool masking feature, so you can put, say, vocals in the foreground, drums and leads behind it and synth pads in the background (ie they get ducked on overlapping freqs).

In the end I bought both on sale.
The only way to know which one is better is to try them out for a while.

FWIW I’ve had Neutron for years and every time I’ve used it on a track, I ended up removing it. It’s not that it’s bad, but without it and using something else was always better.
