It's certainly pricey ... too much for me atm.
Only available from one UK distributor

I’d rather have a combination Hillman Imp and Lexus UX

Are you safe?

@thecontrolcentre: lol I thought you bought that implexus. I already knew about it though. I certainly can't buy it after that $2k (Damn Reverb charged me sales tax) guitar yesterday.

btw: here's the side view for those who missed the edit a couple pages back. It's got
a black headstock, looks like a single color in the other pic, but no.

*It might make a good guitar for batman, due to the color scheme.

Very pretty. I love me a nice Telecaster ... used to own a Tokai Breezysound in pink paisley.
I have a black Fender these days.

They have an Implexus on display at Perfect Circuit so I tried it out last time I was there. It looks beautiful and sounds really nice. Everything about screams high quality (balanced I/O on a monosynth?)...
...but it's a pretty simple monosynth when you get down to it. It's like a monophonic version of Aalto without the sequencer. Modulation is pretty flexible but the audio path isn't.
I think there is a market for folks who want modular sounds but even things like 0-Coast or Mother-32 are *too modular*. I think Implexus hits some sweet spots in that regard but the price is a tough hurdle.

That's the impression I got from the initial announcement. Really premium looking synth but also quite simple, and pricier than I would throw at it.

The patch bay being stuck on the back would irritate me to no end, too. Also no VCA control over FM depth... oof.

I only discovered it yesterday from a link in this thread. I did buy a Dreadbox Nymphes recently and swore it was the last synth I would buy ... not so sure now. :hihi:

I hear ya, probably I won't wind up with 30 guitars again and god knows what else.

Especially when they got stuff like this some guy was talking about at MW. Just add some decent pickups and they are serviceable reportedly. https://guitarsgarden.com/ Might be fun
to screw around with and not have to worry about it.

Actually, it was in the "Hardware effects anyone?" thread... but still. :hihi:

Laugh-it-up... while you're watching THIS:

That looks nice ... cheers :)
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil
