xhunaudio wrote: Fri Feb 11, 2022 7:17 pm Ok thank you. I confirm I have not such issue, I opened a factory preset, then set the STEPS number # from "16" down to "3", saved the project. I reloaded the project and I have "3", as expected.

I have to see with latest Live version.

Uhmm, just asking : is it possible that you set the STEPS number # on a different "scene" ?

For example, you set the STEPN NUM# to "5" on the scene "C". But when reloading the project, the sequencer automatically opens scene "A" STEPN NUM# (16) which was not modified...
No different scene.

But did you check the sound. The steps display was the same number, but the sequencer actually played more steps than displayed.
I will check again later and write down steps to reproduce.

Yes, "3" steps on the display, "3" steps are played when the sequencer is trigged.

So checked again, could easily reproduce.

On loading the project again it resets to the "Steps" value of the preset I used.

To reproduce:
0. Set a Midi lane with a full note G
1. Instantiate Zerobox and Load preset "PTC Dance Monolith A"
2. Set "Steps" to 1 (only 1 note played)
3. Save project, Close Ableton Live
4. Reload project, now Steps is at 8 again, as in the preset.

I did not touch any other buttons.

Aww, too bad Xhun is all NFR (no license transfers)... oh well. If they change their policy they'll have me as a customer!

So I checked again, for other parameters, and it seems recall is pretty much broken here.
Also Tune, Envmod, Decay, Accent is not recalled correctly. pretty much everything.
It looks like it just reloads the used preset.
So if I change anything, save it. It will always reload the preset defaults.
Either this is a design fault or it is really broken here?

Could you try to reproduce it with the demo version?

Edit:
Ok I also checked the Little One Demo.
It happened there too, once. But very strangely the values snapped back to the preset when saving.
Is there there some hotkey maybe which resets to preset?
But I think in Little One it's something different. Since loading of projects works there correctly.

Any news on this issue Xhun?

In this state it's unusable here.

Anyone else on Live 11.1 Windows 10 here where it's working as expected?

A delay effect with just two delay times is totally baffling to me but I can't find any other options to change delay times. Is there really only the two delay time options and, if so, why? 😳

Hi,

in case there's any issue with specific DAWs, I'm going to address that, also if it would require an IDE change in the future.

WDL-OL remains a great IDE. Unfortunately, it seems (over time) the VST3 protocol is being differently implemented across the different DAWs so it could have some incompatibilities with the way it is implemented in WDL-OL.

D-LAY is a tempo-synced delay specific unit. At the beginning, the idea was to include also a freely-assignable delay time function too (hence the knobs). Later I decided to keep D-LAY as it is, and further include a *separate delay unit* with freely-assignable tempo (as done with IronAxe).

Hi,

- there's not an automatic installer. The installation process consist in : manually copy the .dll file into your plugin folder and the library files into the proper folder as described in the tutorial.

- if you follow step-by-step all the instructions provided, the product works fine (note : ZeroBox is 64bit only). The product has to be authorized in order to produce sound. Authorization instructions are provided, please do not discuss about this on public forums or social media.

- no MIDI out from the sequencer/plugin. Just 2 channels audio out.

- yes, there are things like : waveform blending, waveshaping, LFO modulation, included FX units, mods, ... Full list here :

The only DAW that is recognising zerobox on my M1 Mac mini is latest Ableton Live - AU only - surprised as it was realised only few days ago…
Mother of all VSTs -Cubase Pro.(the latest version) placed both Vst 2 and 3 in a bin.
Logic Pro doesn’t want to know about it and so is Reason.
Wavelab hates it as well…
Total disaster and what’s with not creating proper installers for both Mac and win…
Mega disappointed :(
Fix, fix, fix pls…
Btw; Plese get in touch with Nils to fix issues in macOS. I’m sure he’ll get you on the right track… :)

Nils is a very nice guy and will definitely help you to get back on track with your disastrous app as it is.

Nils Schneider has all my appreciation for his valued works as a developer.

If you consider my software not worth your time, just don't buy it. All my softwares are provided with a free trial/demo versions - with no expiration date - for this kind of evaluation purpose.

So that means I should not buy it now and wait until a fix is out.
Ok, how do I get notified?

I'm a bit confused since Ableton Live is used by alot of users, that this is not working with project reloading settings.

No installer along with the weird "don't talk about installation stuff publically" is weird and anti-consumer. It's like you're trying to hide that there's no installer or something. Installers are not difficult to make. Can you address why you refuse to make an installer like every other company?

Post

Please just a little bit of respect, if I could ask :)

I talked about "authorization instructions", not "installation stuff".

It means : please let's avoid to talk about your personal license data and authorization details on public forums. For any question about this or for help, just email me privately. It's not weird, it's common sense.

Instead, if you want to talk about the missing "installers", you can do it all night long, also on TikTok.
