It's that time again when Cherry Audio release a new teaser for a new synth.
My guess? Voyetra-8 due to the 'birth of rack' (voyetra was the first rack-mount synth), and the flash of what looks like the old 90s Turtle-beach logo when the sun changes to the blue-highlighted monolith.

My guess is not really a rack-mount exactly, but the monolith-like shape is similar to the Moog Model 10.

They did release those Moog modules for VM a while back so Could be a refactoring of that tech ..Examigan wrote: Fri Feb 18, 2022 3:48 pm My guess is not really a rack-mount exactly, but the monolith-like shape is similar to the Moog Model 10.

This number is Epoch time and converts to Thu Feb 24 2022 19:00:00 GMT+0000 - the very date they show at the end.Niowiad wrote: Fri Feb 18, 2022 6:36 pm WTF does "1645729200" stand for?

Could be, but we got that already in a way as ARP 2600. The Odyssey is a stripped down version of the 2600…
But it might be just a spin-off market for those for whom a modular is too much to deal with…
In that case it truly would be just a new skin for the 2600…
To pack it as VM module as well wouldn’t make too much sense though…
Maybe they got hold of an old Zarathustra and tried to model him. As the last person who heard the sound of ZT was Nietzsche, no living person can complain it doesn’t sound like the original…

Wow. Thank you.
I didn't even know what Epoch time was
Now the mystery is why they would write the date like that, when it's also clearly showed at the end of the teaser
The "crypted" messages they used in previous teasers were generally related to the specific synthesizer model to be revealed.
Anyway, thank you
