Any news on this as I haven't upgraded yet.
The link about upgrading to Monterey on Arturia's website is broken?

I’m using midi cc, software centre, pigments, tape mello-fi, analog lab 5; all fine in Monterey (m1)

Hello,

We just finished the Monterey compatibility check on all our instrument plugins and FX, on all DAWs Monterey compatible we support. For all of them it's ok. :tu:

We still need to finish to validate our companion software (AFCC / MCC and so on), but for the moment we don't see anything bad.

We should announce this in an FAQ soon.

All the best,
Arnaud

Thank you Arnaud for the info.

thread hijack:

anyone know if the Akai MPK series master keyboards work on M1 Monterey?

I think a while ago over at Gearslutz someone mentioned that it doesn‘t. Then it seemingly worked for him after some hassle.

Any first hand experience here?

I'm not sure what wouldn't be working in Monterey? I have the MPK88 and it's presets are stored on board, it's not dependent on an Akai driver etc. It's class compliant when it comes to Mac OS Audio MIDI Setup.

I'm on an M1 Air in Monterey and it's working fine. I haven't tested the MIDIQuest Editor for it though.

I know that it actually shouldn't have problems, but at least that guy mentioned it and even Akai had info on their website that people shouldn't go beyond Big Sur for now.
But thanks, that's good to know! :tu:

I think maybe the MPKII might be more susceptible mostly because it comes with a lot of software, but the original MPKs are class compliant, use MMC and CC messages for everything.
