Not sure what it exactly will be except the 2001 hint; yet also some more info in the other thread:

to revive a a bit this thread; for example Weevil's Scanned Oscillator, a very different approach to make 'waves', fully loaded as always, and therefore a bandwidth of sounds and possibilties; still on sale for $10;

I was about to take a closer look at Scanner Osc but the Cherry store stopped working. Not ofthe UI elements does anything. Their store has always been clunky. Why when there are so many good ecomm platforms out there. Anyway.... maybe another day.

no problems here, very blocked browser/firefox (if that helps with all the things you can trace a user, well, it is only a bit safer...).

the store can be improved, still, but i get around quite quickly, but sometimes lacks logic.

but back to; the store works here. so perhaps, a glitch?

(and i had not really forgotten about this thread, but the Voltage Modular User Group on Facebook is quite active, users become developers...

see this one:

https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/rat-pack-bundle

from someone that also made great, with schematic examples whay you can achieve, with modules of course, to get another take on what a (soft) modular can do.

well, another interesting module, and; well; all the Playerton Modules, or the ones you like, they are quite unique; own half of them; massive possibilities;

https://store.cherryaudio.com/manufacturers/playertron

)

and a quite modular module for additve synthesis is coming, it takes/took some time, it is in its final stage, i have the beta.

well, perhaps i must show some vid's, i made and other users made (mostly better than my own...).

VM as a soft modular, despite it's shortcomings, well i don't experience those shortcomings as shortcomings, because of the bandwidth of possibilties, quite a line up of developers that deliver unique modules. or they work perfectly for me, that is always a factor, of for the music you make.

shall never say this one is better than that one (because i use other soft modulars, with great results, but VM well, i can work quite fast in it, well in the others also, it works for me, the sounds i want, mostly not very common sounds, to say the least..)

Probably. It started working again and I bought Scanned Osc. Also updated Voltage to 2.5.5 (latest). But Scanned Osc throws a dialogue saying it needs a newer version of Voltage... ?? Oh well. I'll try it another day or email support...

Double check to make sure that you're running the latest version. I've had problems with updates completing while VM is loaded. Well, that's what I assume was happening. What I know is that I ran the update and then reloaded VM and was still running the old version.

a bit strange, but nowadays i install new versions, while downloading the installer via the website, the download process is quite slow from within VM itself.

it must run in 2.5.5 (on windows...). or even lower... it isn't made with newest functions...

sometimes, VM can act up, downloading is problematic of modules, sometimes.

well, i don't know what the problem is, but when everything works... you have the Scanned Oscillator, well worth it... for a lifetime of experiments, with one module.. the vid shows the capabilities. and i repeat an overload of functionality, morphing waves (for hammer, center, damping, filter etc.), all the parameters with different settings lead to so many different results.

Yes, i noticed it too !

With such a name i first thought it was some wavetable synthesis but then i saw the video and it's definitely some kind of physical modeling on steroids.

Instant buy ... :love:
