The reviews are mostly raving about it. I personally think all SB halftime shows (and commercials) are pretty lame and cheesy,… unless there are dancing sharks involved, in which case it’s amazingly lame and cheesy. Thoughts?

Being from Blighty I obviously have no interest in either the game nor the shindig, so didn't watch it.

There was only ever one good super bowl halftime show, and that was prince playing the solo for purple rain in a torrential downpour. Every other one has been a waste of time. IMO

I had to pick up my kids and heard it on the radio. It just sounded like someone played their songs through a PA with some crowd noise thrown in.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.
