Nice one TB!
Particularly for those working with vocals and acoustic instruments, don't think of 'Ferox' so much as a tape simulator, but more of a superb, low CPU, character compressor.
Reelbus 3 is still my fave tape plug-in too, and there are many other gems in there.

Great stuff. Thanks TB!
As already mentioned, this and the current AD move make for a great time for everyone getting into music production.

I've earned much more from my music jobs than the full price I paid for it within 10 years and still use it.
ReelBus and Barricade 3 always sit on my master track in every projects.
Now they are freeware, definitely becoming the Best Free Plugins for this decade!

It is nice that developer like Audio Damage or Toneboosters offer their old, not supported plugins as freeware, but it would be really great if they would also open source it, so that there could at least be the possibility that they could be maintained or even ported to modern frameworks, like e.g. the surge synth.

Those v3 suites were absurdly affordable. I still use them, I even like the old-skool GUI's more than those modern v4 GUI's.
I wonder if he sells many v4 plugins, which are much more expensive since you have to buy them individually, if I am not mistaken. For me as a non-professional the improvements from v3 would not be worth it.

Hi guys, how can I setup TB FIX4 external sidechain? I want to show a kick and bassline in the same TB FIX4 instance but I can't get it to work, the manual says to use the SC input option but like I said not working here. I'm using Ableton 10.

Best gesture I've seen so far. Bought BusTools and Track Essentials years ago and still using it daily. For that price I already considered them "freeware"

IIRC there's 2 versions of FIX4 and one of them has the SC option... if you load that you should be able to route your side chain signal to the input 3/4 to FIX4...PlasticSoul wrote: Mon Feb 21, 2022 7:28 pm Hi guys, how can I setup TB FIX4 external sidechain? I bet he does. They are super affordable, high quality, expertly-coded, hassle-free and great sounding plugins with many free and substantial updates. So why would he not selling truck-loads of them? Personally I purchase most of his releases whenever something new comes out.e-crooner wrote: Mon Feb 21, 2022 7:18 pm I wonder if he sells many v4 plugins, which are much more expensive since you have to buy them individually, if I am not mistaken.
