Funny, I just bought a Dreadbox Typhon and swore it was the last synth I would buy (for a while),.... but ever since I bought it I find myself looking at the Nymphes!thecontrolcentre wrote: Thu Feb 17, 2022 12:20 am I only discovered it yesterday from a link in this thread. I did buy a Dreadbox Nymphes recently and swore it was the last synth I would buy ... not so sure now.![]()

Source Audio and Morningstar both have interesting compact programmable midi foot controls. (Soleman, MC3, MC6, MC8)foosnark wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:48 pm On the foot control front, what I really want is something like a Behringer FCB1010, but smaller and preferably not Behringer. I don't need 10 switches, more like 2-3, and space is at a premium even under my desk.

A cheap alternative would be a Line 6 FBV Express, they’re solidly built, but compact and you can pick them up used for about £50 or £75 newfoosnark wrote: Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:48 pm On the foot control front, what I really want is something like a Behringer FCB1010, but smaller and preferably not Behringer. Thanks, that one looks like it might be the winning option.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Feb 17, 2022 7:54 am A cheap alternative would be a Line 6 FBV Express, they’re solidly built, but compact and you can pick them up used for about £50 or £75 new

Oh well, wasnt going to buy anything else this month, but I caved when I found a Caline Wonderland pedal reasonably cheap. Not really as cheap as they once were, I think, but not as expensive as they've been since I first started wanting one. Think its a UK thing, they might be more reasonable in the US.
And the same seller also had a Mariana Trench left so I bought that too.

I put the finishing touches on this Frac system tonight.

I recorded a silly little self-playing patch.

I gotta say, this setup is a lot of fun. These modules may seem kinda primitive compared to modern eurorack stuff but they have a ton of character and sound great.

Getting funky this evening with my new Arturia DrumBrute Impact that I just stole off some local seller. This is one fun little beast of a drum machine!

Is there a, preferably slim, multifunction eurorack module that will display the note of a passed 1v/oct cv source or even optionally also provide the nearest semitone quantise? Can Disting EX or the Ornament and Crime do that? I can use Hot Tuna in VCV, but would prefer something on the rack.

I almost bought this a few times. They even almost got me with the “Noir” edition banners on KVR.cryophonik wrote: Mon Feb 21, 2022 6:08 am Getting funky this evening with my new Arturia DrumBrute Impact that I just stole off some local seller. This is one fun little beast of a drum machine!
