The wifi on my PC laptop stopped working a while ago. I just got round to investigating a bit further: device manager says the Intel AX201 cannot start, error message. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers etc., to no avail.
I just opened up the laptop and the wireless card isn't an AX201, it's an Intel 9560. I'm confused, why does device manager show it as an AX201? I just looked for intel drivers and it looks like they use a general set of drivers in a single package for wifi cards, so I'm assuming it wasn't a case of the wrong driver being installed.

What's going on?
