Yo dudes, son of bitch, shit, etc...
I was trawling thru my Best of KvR folder and I know the year isn't over yet, but it got me wondering, what are your top 5 tracks you've downloaded from KvR this year?
Mine are (in no particular order):
Rozzer - Bomb Run
Topaz - The Push part 2 (must get part 1!)
Komosa - I Don't Care
Dopamine - Zoit
Kriminal - Communication Remix.
Obviously I excluded myself to give the others a chance....I am joking before anyone decides to gun me down.
I'm gonna try and put together a DJ set with these 5 tracks in it, amongst some 'commercial' tracks and maybe one or two of my own. If I manage that I might just share it with you all.
erm, word up to yo fat mama or summat.

1. Rozzer - Bomb Track
2. Galaxians - Lo Tech Nite Life (aka Rozzer)
3. Cypher One - cant decide a track at the mo, too many good ones to choose from
4. Glassback and Adsinthe - Theme For A Summer Garden
5. Dave Spiers/Putte - More Wonderful
These all get played pretty often, and are all in my folder of favs from this year, plus others from Rozzer, Cypher One (loads), pHz, Topaz, Mr.Me, Ronny Pries.
Big up to y'all selves for tha tunes
p.s. anyone know who did a song called 'Romlet' ? Its in my folder, but isnt tagged. Kinda bigbeat/breaks like, slow and cool

A tough cookie to boil to five, but let's try
1) Putte - A lot of love
2) WhyteRabbit&Emerald Tablet - Evoks
3) Donkey Tugger - Lost/Grim up North
4) Juanito - Madelyn
5) vurt - natalia-the girl with x ray vision (though this could well have been any other title really)
On the other hand I heard so much great music this past year that would hardly fit into just five. I have my fave folders to just put on here too; normal, sonicseven, fake, maximumjack, garret, Püre, etc. etc. etc.

I'd have to check my folders to know for sure, but of the top of my head in particular order:
Jeez - Cuz I Like you
xoxos - Planet Rock
Steven West - Robin in the Rain
svartling - Canyon Sweeper
püre - Tara
vurt - hbdmFX
Wretch - Decimate (plate 7)
dystonia_ek - Wounds Grow Wings
These are the one's that stand out in my head, but I've heard a lot of great stuff this year. Got some great stuff by Foliativ and Bahlasti Ohmpeda (usernames? Vinz and [dunno]?) and ID Submerged, also can't remember his user name. McKenic has a really great tune called Digital Dreams or something, but I think it might be from last year. I listen to some of Mystahr's recent work now and again, too. Dan from spinAudio had a great track a couple of weeks ago (High cut?) and Lady Thatcher (I assume that was Donks, but not sure as I wasn't in on the joke) did a great and hilarious glitch cutup thing, but I think I forgot to save it.
Cheers,
Steve

Ooh, forgot Remco's great remix of jdg's Gasmor. I like jdg's stuff, but I think the remix was better. Sadly I may be one of only a few who've heard it, as it had to be pulled for some copyright issue.

I know, and for that I am shamed, but it seemed wrong to leave out such great songs.CypherOne wrote:that's not five, you cheeky monkey
If it must be 5:

But now I feel bad.

hmmmnnn ... to my shame i listen to WAY too little music in the cafe (time for another one of my periodical im-going-to-listen-to-and-comment-on-at-least-one-track-every-day resolutions i guess) so rather than 5 top tracks im going to be a maverick and give my top 5 K-v-R artists of the year (across both 'regular' releases and the contests) ...
