I did buy the last one of these the guitar shop had: Crazy Tube Circuits Echotopia Delay:

Sadly tis discontinued. The Timeline can't really do stuff like this. Anyway, got it cheap
as they wanted to get rid of it. Uhe's Satin is a good plugin for this type of delay if you
have that.

The AxeBender Whammy Bar keeps getting better. Over six years into development and we're discovering boss level new features! Yes it works like a whammy bar, but it can also control effects... Multiple effects... Simultaneously! And when you'd like to take things in a completely new direction, this little bar never fails to deliver!
not likely on my list but Visionary Instruments is someone I know well. Ben (pictured in the link) is a good friend of mine, we worked together at a mom and pop music store In Davis SQ Somerville Mass...the best luthier I ever met*. I went to MARs music that had a luthier, he went to the Hawaii store and we were looking for a new luthier and I said that I knew someone. Called the other store and said "hey Ben", years later he contacted me on FB with his new company, and he credited me for helping him get his first break. He's in Maine once in a while, we share a mutual friend from MARs (a great FOH engineer), but I havent seen him in years. He called a couple years ago, Phish was playing in Bangor and they had tickets, he wanted to pick me up but I couldnt.

*There was a used stereo store just a few doors down from us when I worked with Ben, they had this accoustic guitar that was beyond destroyed. Ben was starting out on his path trying to do his own thing soe he went around to all such stores that might be interested. This store these guys were kinda jerks, they gave him that acoustic and said something like "if you can fix this we'll talk"...he did.
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Maybe this year I'll finally get a Schecter omen elite, a Squier classic vibe strat (plus some mods) to replace my cheap and old chinese strat, and a 5 string Schecter stiletto stealth. At some point in my life I'll also look at getting 1 or 2 signature models of some japanese guitarists from bands I like. Most likely Edwards as the ESP models are very expensive.

I just picked up two Alto TS312s and a Boss IR-200 :-)

So yup, I spent nearly $1600 on a 5 watt hand wired Swart Atomic Jr tube amp.

I like the look of it, straight out of a game of Fallout

They do have some colors that match the fallout future-retro look a little better, but I chose the
black. It's all pine and lacquered tweed, no tolex or pressboard, one reason for the higher cost
I guess. It's also got a 12DW7 Tube reverb and built in spring tank. :)

I just installed the Arturia Audiofuse 8 Pre and it's been really cool for an integrated guitar/synth setup. Latency with Helix Native is pretty good, so I might consider going 100% in the box for amps & cabs.

Holding out for an Oopegg whenever I see more in the US.

Very nice! I've bought synths from you, but have been meaning to get one of your pedals for some time now. I think this will be the one.

ReAmping your guitar with the external effects loop of the Boss GT-8 / GT-10

I found using a low and high pass EQ helps, this is applied near the end of the FX chain, I also do this more extremely with reverbs and delays. A lot of the stock presets use too much delay and reverb.

my fingers might be slightly longer than angus's and therefore i could
end up playing better guitar than angus.
