yup. the moogish-architecture ladder filter is the a-120 LPF, though its not typically moog sounding.

i don't have that, not sure im overly interested, i like filters with a lot of character really, i think if i need moog filter, id go through the minitaur.
although i do have the prism which is a digital modelled moog lpf apparently. but the other fx make it sound different obviously :)

spent the evening (a bit anyway) watching someone called meg on the make noise channel, build a nice patch for chords, using strega, the two 0s and a morphagene :o
every time i think ive reached some plateau with the threesome, and then something like this!!

Some nice tricks on display from Make Noise, especially when they bring in the Tape & Microsound bundle.

With exception to Strega’s agitator and Morphagene doing Morphagene things, it’s not entirely exclusive.

Ordered a Doepfer Wasp Filter and keeping an eye out for any secondhand Disting Mk 4 going cheapish.
I love my Distings (I've got three) - so incredibly useful.

Had half an hour with that Wasp filter at lunchtime. Can make some very cool sounds with it. Wasn’t impressed at all to start with until I realised what I thought was the resonance knob wasn’t actually doing anything :)

Must remember to google what CV2 actually does, guessing something related to the bandpass notch size?

Are you safe?

CV2 jack is an input for a second control over cutoff frequency, summed with the main frequency control. CV2 knob is an attenuator on that input.
Most Doepfer filters have more than one CV input cutoff frequency.

ha! if you get the sem, make sure you don't plug your audio in to the top like the wasp and wonder why there is no sound

I definitely wouldn’t have worked that out for myself :)

This just arrived a few minutes ago. Phew, it's a good thing I didn't spring for the case as I would not
have been happy about that. I guess I'm going to have to figure out how to use the thing
now. Anyway, all said and done, was about 14 months from reservation to delivery.

I'd be interested to know how you get along with it. I'm a sucker for fancy sequencers.

Speaking of welcome arrivals, the Sport Modulator is here and it's such a neat addition to my MLDR case.

Nice! I got one on the way as well. That one took a bit of time too, not nearly as long as the
OXI1 though.

Will report on it once I've had some time to mess with it a bit. Honestly I don't immediately have
space for it, what with all these friggin pedals everywhere.
