Some of my instruments have multi-outs but I dont see how to route the seperate outs. Ive tried rigging it to the Tracktion Mixer from tracktion-faction but I still only get one pair of stereo outs. Is there any way to get the other outs to show up?

I think you have to go the 'rack filters' route with multi-outs. and I'm still trying to figure that out myself. there's a page with tutorials somewhere, I'll try to find the link.

There are tutorials at the Tracktion Faction website and also in issue 74 of Computer Music that should help. :)

Have no clue about the tracktion faction mixer. but...

just right click the synth, click 'wrap in rack filter'. Now ctrl-drag to copy the rack filter to as many tracks as you want (ie. 4 tracks if you want to use 4 seperate sets of outs). Now click each rack filter and set the 'left/right output comes from' to whichever vsti output you want to use.

Its that easy. :D

what about when you have one midi drum track pushing dr008, and I want to use 4 of its' outputs?
one track of xphrase, how would I route its 4 outputs?

Exactly the same way. You don't need midi tracks on each track - just one track containing all the midi on the one of the rack filter tracks. The other 3 tracks can have no midi.

Of course you need to configure xphrase and dr008 to send each sound to the proper output as well...
