I also use Cakewalk, but I normally map the controls (of whichever synth I'm using) to my keyboard's controls and change their settings there instead of drawing them in like in your video, but it works either way.

I noticed your video has some static type of sound going on in there. Not sure if the latency and buffers need adjusting as they might be causing the crackling, or there's some other issue going on.

I have submitted just one jingle, but it is about one minute long. I don't think I have enough time to finish the second.
The file is big for Gmail, so it uploaded to my Drive and sent a link to Tone2 (the limit is 25mb per file).
Anyway, it was a pleasant experience with Icarus 2 and Ableton Live. Everything went smooth

my midi keyboard has only two modulators- mod wheel and aftertouch,so if create more complex modulation system, can't demonstrate them other way.Examigan wrote: Sun Feb 27, 2022 2:13 pm I noticed your video has some static type of sound going on in there. Not sure how could be a static sound when entire idea of the preset is to transform the sound?
Tomorrow will try to finalize the track competitor and will make video of it with more presets, this was just to show part.

I finished my bits of music and sent those over for this already, but yesterday I worked on a preset using the resynthesis in Icarus 2. I took a Sub Phatty sample I had created a while back to use for the resynthesis.
It uses (among other features) the Hypersaw 5 setting, 3 oscs were used, plus a good amount of modulation is going on, some fx, etc. This is just one instance with that preset and no external fx.
It's kind of a strings/soundtrack type of sound.

Thank you too, Markus! Is nice to be challenged with creative events like this, which are also helping us (re)discover the cool synths we have in our arsenal!

Thanks!
The first one is only four instances of Icarus and one track of Addictive Drums using a Simmons kit. I just used the built-in Icarus presets for all the demos, but I tweeked them a bit here and there. The DAW's automation was used too.
The last one is more complex as it uses seven instances of Icarus and one of Addictive Drums (basic drum pattern with a Simmons kit again). This demo had three of the tracks using arp presets and another was a "1 Key Hold" preset, but I had written out patterns in Cakewalk note by note. So basically a lot of it is the Icarus arp in action, but with notation/patterns I created. A couple of the instances in this one used Icarus drum loop presets.
I can list the presets for those two tracks if you're interested.
