You can talk about whatever you want to talk about. Use good judgement and intentions. Anything out of line will get flagged and dealt with. It's too difficult to confine a thread to a list of requirements because a) people won't read them and b) people will ignore them.
Just carry on as usual and everything will be fine.

Totally agree.jens wrote:And because of this, I don't think the OP has any right to declare what must and what must not be discussed in this thread. That is what I meant with my quote above.

Thanks Burillo for making aware of it, good one.Burillo wrote:it's mac only for now. in case you didn't notice.
Remains the question if one wants to invest now into a later pc release
or wait for another sale when pc is included.
The question I have for myself and maybe others:
sometimes units look so promising but turn out to be not that useful because of this and that.
I`m interested in the this and that.
I.e. partly implementation of Futzbox sounds good in the abstract
(especially if you own a copy of Futzbox and get used to it)
but one does not know how things go together and how applicable they become.
So, some feedback about look and feel when carrying out is pretty welcomed.

for the record, i did "invest" in it, primarily because i myself didn't know it was Mac-only. but, on the upside, for some reason EUR to USD ratio was way up so i was saving *a lot* by buying it from JRRShop. so when it comes to Windows, i'll be ready. if it doesn't in a reasonable amount of time, well, i haven't activated my license yet, so i'll be able to sell it without transfer fees.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

That's why I was initially interested, given the low price. But I reminded myself that Late Replies has plugin slots in the feedback loop, and the impulses they supply are in Futzbox which I already have....Gamma-UT wrote:Convolution in the feedback path looks interesting but for the number of times I'd use it, I'd probably opt to just lash it together using one of the modular plugins instead of buying yet another delay.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Sent the following to McDSP on 27th April:-
Got this reply back the same day:-Hi there. If I purchase the MAC version of EC300 will there be any problems in obtaining a Windows (VST) version for free once it is released.
I will post your reply here at the KVR forum http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 6&t=503930
Yes, the iLok authorization is universal. And the good new is, we have a fix from the 3rd party we were waiting on. But, there is still some work to do so we are hoping for a late Spring release at this time.

Alright, topic reflects "Mac only atm" now to avoid further confusion.

I also jumped on it, someone wrote about it in bargains but I didn't check: is there a windows version now and do I still need a dongle?

Cloud is the alternative for the dongle. Activation of a computer doesn't seem possible.blortblort wrote: Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:33 pmYep, theres a Windows version and im not positive but i dont think you need an ilok physical donglegExpectations wrote: Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:30 pm I also jumped on it, someone wrote about it in bargains but I didn't check: is there a windows version now and do I still need a dongle?

Thanks! I got the license with an error "impossible delivery, contact support". I created a ticket and see if they help me out, even if its a free promo.Lotuz2019 wrote: Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:43 pm Cloud is the alternative for the dongle. Activation of a computer doesn't seem possible.
