McDSP EC-300 Echo Collection [ATM Mac only]

Hi, I just got the EC 300 for Windows 10 and a tips to move the presets to:

C:\Users\username\Documents\VST3 Presets\McDSP

...but still no luck. Does anyone have a solution?

Cloud is the alternative for the dongle. Activation of a computer doesn't seem possible.

I use Reaper and the vst3 version failed to register for some reason. I selected it in the VST plugin path list among those who failed to scan and that did it.

Do you mean rescan just that one plugin from a list? How do you do that?

It doesn't have anything to do with EOL I think, because there are actually some plugins from certain companies that are iLok key only and not machine or cloud.

I don't remember off hand, I would have to go through my collection to see, but I have some plugins from a few companies that are iLok key only and machine/cloud is not allowed.

I think it's a choice that the devs can make.

As for this EC-300 plugin, I just downloaded and installed it and I didn't know anything about the plugin beforehand, but I'm glad to have it.

I thought it might be an old or obsolete plugin, since it was free, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has a modern GUI that can be resized to make large.

I haven't really tested the audio part of it yet, but it seems like an easy plugin to use with a nice layout.

Cloud is in the name, I suppose it makes sense that somebody needs to be connected to the cloud to use the cloud.

I don't think somebody needs to be connected if they use the dongle.

If somebody is against both clouds and dongles, then they should just skip over this plugin and save themselves from any further potential hardships.
