They usually only have a December sale.
Also if I remember correctly their volume purchase doesn't economically work out during sales time. (that is the volume discount sticks to whatever formula it uses and ignores the sale price for the most part.. from memory)

I think I paid 299 USD during their holiday sale for the upgrade + 10 latest packs.

I always stand on a point that art and sport are outside of politics. I don't support war on Ukrain, but i also don't understand the attitude of ReFx company. I am from Russia and my Nexus is blocked right now without any warnings, though i didn't do or say anything bad. I paid money for it, but can't use it. I saw messages about the perpetual bans of users and here is another reason to ditch ReFx company.

I cant imagine this has something to do with "because you are Russian". Maybe you didnt notice through russian media, but It can be, that the SWIFT, Paypal and maybe other internet services has been generally blocked for Canada/Russia?

Unfortunately I fear you are going to find this in every area of your life now. The entire system of finance and commerce is grinding to a halt between Russia and the rest of the world. It wouldn't be at all surprising if you find you are unable to access KVR one day soon, or indeed any non-Russian websites. Russia is turning into North Korea - partly imposed from outside as sanctions, partly self-imposed to restrict independent information.

Easy for me to say I know, but the best thing you can do is be an active part of the resistance to Putin.

Wishing you and your loved ones all the best. No matter what you hear, the rest of the world is not anti Russian people. But they are very anti Putin.

(Sorry this is "political", but it's a fantasy that politics isn't relevant in this situation).

Interesting that reFx didn't have any attitude toward those countries that destroyed Syria, Libya and many more. Weird.

I noticed, Manuel. But when i trying to open refx site, it shows only Ukranian flag, also i can't login to refx cloud. Either refx site was hacked or it is their position to russian customers. I understand that we will meet many more consequences, but i personally didn't expect that it will touch music. I always thought that music unite people and not separate them. Anyway Ableton sent official mail with their position and that they will be unavailable for russian customers. ReFx didn't warn me and simply shut down Nexus 3.

I hope KVR will not shut down for us. It is my most used forum with great people all over the world that discuss music in all forms. Music is one of the biggest part of my life and i can't imagine my life without music.

I guess this just brings more cracked software.

That's a tough position to be in.....
Another reason btw, whereas I prefer, dongles, serial numbers, special downloads, almost even c/r than the call home protections.
