My micro ornament and crime arrived. Now have to decide whether to stick with stock firmware or get Hemispheres. Based on comprehensibility of manuals I’m probably going with the latter, the default O&C apps seem a bit harder to use.
I wish there were some reverb/delay fx.

The processor's not fast enough for audio.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 3:43 pm My micro ornament and crime arrived. I agree Hemisphere is easier to use, and to me it also has more generally useful utilities.

"Hot pink, or a less awesome color of your choice"
I'm generally not a big fan of QPAS but it suits this pretty well.

You’ll have to excuse me, as I’m not pekbro and dont remember what filters you have (besides the Wasp and SEMs)… but I thought you already had QPAS?

I haven’t got past using the stock quadruple quantizer yet, it’s really good.foosnark wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 6:38 pmThe processor's not fast enough for audio.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 3:43 pm My micro ornament and crime arrived. I wish the micro usb socket was on the front of the unit, it’d be so much easier to deal with and genuinely useful if I wanted to bring in MIDI from time to time.

If you can spare 1HP of space, you could try one of these types of things...WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 8:13 pm I wish the micro usb socket was on the front of the unit, it’d be so much easier to deal with and genuinely useful if I wanted to bring in MIDI from time to time.

An idiot on Set Theory:

Unfortunately it needs about 4hp as the usb juts sideways into where another module could go.
I have a 12HP mixer arriving soon and have a suspicion there won’t be room, but it depends on how things are arranged beneath the unit. If my case were wooden I’d just drill a hole, but it’s that hard plastic stuff and that won’t go well.

I love filters. I haven’t bought another pod yet because I keep talking myself out of an all filter pod. Just seems like it makes sense but I can’t tell if I’m delusional.vurt wrote: Wed Mar 02, 2022 8:31 pmnope, 2 wasps, sem, polivoks, borg, 2 cinnamon and a prism.

if i wasn't so lazy, id reorganise so i had all my filters in a row, and make everything more like you'd follow a path.
jumping from case to case for even a basic oscillator/filter/amp is getting old
