Best of the best: multi-effects

I've always had a soft spot for complete multi effects containing reverbs, delays, modulation effects, maybe compression etc and so on, but haven't had any luck finding anything that really felt complete since the days of Kore.
The closest I've come in my quest is the Soundtoys rack - but it hasn't got a "decent" reverb and while faking reverbs in delays are cool but I'm looking for a more proper reverb.
What is the best/inspiring multi effect in plugin form for you guys?

Thanks! That's actually a really good suggestion. Looks very professional and proper. Absolutely something I'm after.

If you use it for mixing, you can take a look at these two:
https://hofa-plugins.de/plugins/hofa-system/
Very good workflow, components can be used standalone.
And:
https://www.pspaudioware.com/products/psp-infinistrip
Excellent sound quality, iLok however.

Depends how decent 'decent' is.
I personally like the reverbs in Unfiltered Audios Byome and Triad quite a bit, fine for everyday use and certainly in more ambient/experimental contexts. Whether a real reverb connoisseur would rate them... maybe not, I still pull up vintageverb a lot for sure.
I'd demo them anyway, over forty different effects covering everything you mentioned. Can be had for peanuts in the PA sales.

Kilohearts Multipass is another solution targeted at sound design.kvotchin wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 7:55 am Based on the OP, maybe HY-MBMFX2? If you like the idea of multiband processing too, that is.

Depends on your goals.
“Best in sound quality“ with TONS of great effects, from high quality reverbs, compressors, delays, filters, saturation… that could (and can) stand their own at the top of the game as stand alone plugins, to dj effects - plus great internal modulators, would be Guitar Rig 6 for me.
But i also really like Zebrify that comes with Zebra.
And then there's of course the FSU-category (not that the aforementioned couldn't do this well too)

Mulit effects are a tough topic IMO. Hard to find a good product because of the wide range of application and one dev is rarely able to deliver a good tool box. I always loved PSP Audioware N2O but it's outdated as hell and with a tiny gui (but I hope for a 2022 make-up). BYOME and TRIAD by Unfiltered Audio may worth a try. I found those in the end too convoluted and not always sounding pleasant – I sold them. The only multi-fx which is still in use since ten years or so is the aforementioned Zebrify. All effects are at least decent some are superb (like XMF Filter, New Reverb, Wavefolder). FM and RM modulation. A lot of things can be done in an unusual way. Lot of modulators. Pitch and peak follower. Controllable via MIDI. Compressor and EQ as well. Hence Zebrify has (four) oscillators as well you can use it as a monophonic drone machine too. Plus: you get a great synthesizer on top of that
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Anything, inside Bidule, VCV, or MUX.
An idiot on Set Theory:

I really like TRIAD, and Kilohearts MultiPass. Both of them are in their own ways kinda "roll your own MFX," though TRIAD is self-contained while Kilohearts has the individual plugins for sale and so if you aren't subscribed or pretty invested you might be quite limited.
I've also had good success with MixBox because I'm familiar with the IK software ecosystem, especially used after a synth software that focuses on oscillators - I didn't actually expect to use it as much as I have after getting it in the 25th anniversary group buy, since I have most of those effects singly, but it's been handy & the individual wet-dry is convenient to set up.
I use Metaplugin to do weird effects chains of arbitrary plugs with crossover filters etc. too.
