see, now you've made me want to buy more sample libraries.
At the very least, Tim's sound-effects-libraries pages are inspiring. As is his blog.

obviously not essential, as i can use the others, but thought id mention it :)
Well, I think it should be best to keep the start/stop effect on Reels and Wires as it makes more sense there.

Awesome! Is the rhythmic element due to Trip or to the samples?

Here's a link to all (93) of his 'teaser' "making-of" (library) videos, which should appear as a list in the upper right of the page:

Yup, got a few of his libraries. Its also his info on piezo mic impedance that prompted me to always use them with the Hi-Z inputs on field recorders (since I never did get around to building an appropriate preamp...) Its not ideal, but its better.

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

trip function on bass synth samples, with some reverb baked in to the sample.

Ah! I wish I had found this article 10 years ago...I did a lot of experimenting with contact mics of all shapes and pickups/inductor mics.

If someone made me listen to that video over and over I would give away any top secret information I had just to make it stop. :)

Good stuff. I've got several of his libraries too. Seeing this reminds me that I need to build some reels for Morphagene with them.

Btw, are the sync options working (the question mark besides the speed knob)? The Trip modulation does go faster or slower if I increase the bpm tempo of the host, but it doesn’t follow the adjust options 1 bar, 2 bars, … (Cubase 11, W10)
At the same time, a USB syncronized drum machine works fine.

this thing seems really inspirational and great but im missing a bit a mod matrix? :D

and maybe a drag and drop feature where you can drag and drop samples into the 8 different patterns?

One more Audiothing plugin that I really enjoy.

I'd enjoy it just a bit more though, if it had:
- pitch per slot
- the ability to move the center wheel by mod wheel (or any freely definable midi controller)
- ... and/or let me choose saw up/down waveforms for the movement

:D

I've quickly retested here in Logic Pro and works as it should BUT I think I understand what might be the issue. The phase of the trip lfo starts in the middle of the big knob, so that might not be ideal. If you are experiencing a sync issue instead, would you mind posting an audio/video?

Pitch per slot, yeah, would be nice, but there's really not enough space in the UI for that.
You can already MIDI learn every parameter, including the big center knob and control it with a mod wheel if you want.
