Thanks a again for all this great feedback. I took good notes of all your remarks.
Now, in the case of other products like Pigments or now Efx FRAGMENTS, it goes without saying that flat design makes much more sense.
It is indeed a matter of taste. My point of view is that the 3D interface is perfectly justified when it comes to replicating a vintage device. This gives more of a feeling of using the "real thing".gExpectations wrote: Thu Mar 03, 2022 2:14 pm Dear project manager, I just wanted to say i greatly appreciate the use of a flat interface, i understand this is majorly personal but I would like the arturia fx even better if they wouldnt all be such 3d clonkers.

It's really good to have the granular engine from Pigments available as an FX plug-in, I like it.

Always cool and fun to see new granulators around the block, but I think Silo is far much superior. If you already have one of the 3 mighty granulators: Silo, Crusher-X or Portal, there's really no reason to get this, it's just overlapping tools at this point.
But if you don't own any granulator yet though, this could be a nice option to consider.

Gotta be honest I usually never even try the stock plugins with a DAW. Steinberg recently pulling Loopmash is a very good reason why - it is not compatible with Cubase 12. Won't even launch. So at any time, those bundled goodies they can take away from you. Same with Avid and Pro Tools, with all the plugins that only work if you pay the annual tax.
Just got EFX yesterday. Yet to use it in anger, but liked the demo very much.

Seems good; thanks for the vids guys.

Processing a frame-drum groove (played with samples from one of my Falcon libraries) with a custom patch in Fragments, tweaking the installed Macros and other things on the fly. Stutter-kind of stuff with a tuned comb-filter.

You can only tune it with a knob/Macro, it doesn't have Midi in.j wazza wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 3:59 pmi didnt know it had a tuned comb filter, thanks! does it react to midi or how do you tune it?Sampleconstruct wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 3:50 pm Processing a frame-drum groove (played with samples from one of my Falcon libraries) with a custom patch in Fragments, tweaking the installed Macros and other things on the fly.
