Modify multitrack midi files for instant improvising?

Hello,
I try to use parts/measures from multitrack midi files for instant improvising/live playing.
Here I don't want to play whole songs as cover versions.
I would use only a defined range of parts/measures out of a song and want play along with own chords.
I have no knowledge of chords/notes. So I don't want invest time in programming/preperation of chords or adjust notes.
I guess I tried nearly each software, were I thought it is the right tool. But all software solutions requires manual adjustments with higher level of background knowledge.
Is there no solution on the market, to make midi multitrack files playable for own improvsided chords?
I think about following workflow:
- load midi file
- define range of parts/measures of the midi file
- "automatic" adjustment for free improvised chord accompaniment
- play improvised
