A quick "In Use" video.
This is FREE for a short time, Heads up!
The EC-300 Echo Collection brings the sound of dozens of echo and chorus effects into a single plug-in.
The three delay types - Magnetic, Digital, and Analog - come with a generous collection of user controls, plenty of character modes, highly stylized visual feedback, and McDSP’s nearly two decades of gear modeling experience.
Each EC-300 delay type comes with additional character modes to create new and unique sounds. Other delay features include adjustable saturation, wow and flutter, delay output ducking, in-loop filtering and EQ, and level control at the input and output stages. The EC-300 can operate in single, dual, and ping-pong modes, and delay time can be synced to session playback or to a tapped tempo.

Still iLok - Dongle only?

If you're not averse to iLok and don't have this already, you should check it out - it's a fantastic freebie.

iLok is cloud based also and has been for sometime, but you know that.
Get on this. A great delay. Price has always been prohibitive but you cant beat free!
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

This is the first ilok cloud plug i've installed and it couldn't have gone smoother. If you're ok with having your daw machine on the internet then I think it's the way to go (speaking as someone who's lost soft activations to hard drive crashes a couple of times).
Well worth it, the IRs in the digital model are wonderful.

Yepp, I do use iLok, yet not with a dongle or cloud. this seems very good though and would be the second one to miss, after the slate air - thingy.

Great. How do you get it? I don't see anything on their web page about it being free for any period of time, other than a demo.
Wait... loot _then_ burn? D'oh!

Also worth noting that literally nothing was changed except Mac M1 ARM native compatibility. No new high-res UI, nothing. .. and it's a 29$ update, per plugin for v7 which is horrible for people who have a bunch of their plugins as there is no cap to the update amount ala Waves WUP.
Still, I did pay for the 29$ update because I got the plugin free and want it in M1 native format. Needless to say, this is going to be my one and only McDSP plugin ever.

Not sure if this is new or part of the V7 update, but now it supports machine-based Ilok and also includes two seats per license...bmanic wrote: Thu Apr 21, 2022 3:58 pm Also worth noting that literally nothing was changed except Mac M1 ARM native compatibility.
