I'd like to have different chord segments and then link captain melody to each segment. I created a track with captain chords and generated some chords then created a captain melody track and connected it to captain chords and generated a melody.
I then created another track with a new instance of captain chords and created a new set of chords. When I added a new track with captain melody it conveniently linked to the new captain chords, which I thought was wonderful. However, much later in the project I tried to do a third set, but only to discover that all three sets of captain chords are now "off-line", the chord suggestion boxes are empty and I cannot proceed anymore.
My question is, is it really allowed to do it this way? Is the off-line business just a glitch?
Is there another way to do that with only one captain chords and get captain melody to link to a certain segment?
Thanks in advance!

** UPDATE
It seems that Captain chords caught a bug inside the project which made that instance of logic also become buggy.
When I open a fresh instance of logic and load a track with Captain chords, CC, then it is all fine! But if I first open the previous, buggy, project naturally CC is buggy (offline) but also if I close the project and start a new project and load a track with CC it will also be offline! I need to restart logic to get CC back to normal (online)..
I've tried to start a clean, empty project where I tested CC to be OK (online) and then import all tracks and contents from the old project, but no success!

Not sure why CC goes offline, but why don't you use the Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus and Drop tabs in CC to create 4 different chord/melody patterns within one pair of Captain Chords and Captain Melody plugins?

Yes, thanks ZincT. I will use them now. Since I used Scaler also I just automatically carried on with the same style. But yes, 4 patterns might be just enough for a project.
However, I think this bug had nothing to do with this, after I did more investigations. I was just trying to save the current project. I'll go on and investigate more!
