I really like bitfrost, but I’m going to wait to play with Kvasir first. I’m gonna try to pretend like I’ve got some self control.

9U x 126hp [x2] ... I have quite a few wide things though, like Elements, Supercell, NW-1, RT451, etc. And most of my duplicates are 20hp+.

Can tell I’ve fallen hard for this eurocrack lark as on the way home from the shops I passed a charity shop with a horrible chipboard bookcase in the window they wanted £30 for and my first thought was “hmmm… some rails and power… how many U and HP could I get from that?”

Been there. I almost bought a used wooden bunk-bed ladder once, that looked like 6U-84hp between the rungs.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 11:18 pm Can tell I’ve fallen hard for this eurocrack lark as on the way home from the shops I passed a charity shop with a horrible chipboard bookcase in the window they wanted £30 for and my first thought was “hmmm… some rails and power… how many U and HP could I get from that?”

Even though I bought the 2600 over the 2600 VCO, I wouldn’t mind adding just the VCO if (when) I expand. These do sound great.

Yeah I just ordered the modules as I have no space for the 8u full version. These do sound fantastic. I'm just online now purchasing another of these. I already have oneelxsound wrote: Mon Mar 07, 2022 4:10 pm Even though I bought the 2600 over the 2600 VCO, I wouldn’t mind adding just the VCO if (when) I expand. These do sound great.

I got a Four Play last week. My only issue with it is that it lets you select exponentially increasing CV values, but not inverted which means I can’t use it with my AR envelope modules easily to create snappy percussion sounds from noise unless I can live with some dragging on the beat to let attack kick in.

If it sounds like the Intellijel Quad VCA (of which it is a clone, as I think QVCA is a clone of Veils).. then YES... ok here we go again, new case list, along with the Buchla-Tiptop stuff.
BTW, you asked about a chord module iirc.. check out Qu-Bit's Chord2.. digital WT OSC. It has 4 voices (individual outs and a mix out) modulation for voicing and chord quality.. I've had some reallt good funky type gtr and FM style rhodes etc.

You can't seriously say that Quad VCA is a clone of Veils v1 in the same way this thing rips off Intellijel. The features and layout are significantly different from Veils, and identical between these two. It's absolutely shameless.
- Veils has more gain per channel (+20dB)
- Quad VCA has +6dB gain on toggle switches
- Quad VCA has separate bias and CV controls
- Quad VCA has cascading normalled CV inputs
