And Otristan talks snippishly about retina support in Kontakt where Falcon definitely isn't exactly a high-res eldorado...
I don't understand here.
What are you missing in Falcon in terms of HighRes UI ?

You mean besides approximatively 99% of Mac users :)

As I read it around 60% of all users are on normal HD or lower.

As I read it around 60% of all users are on normal HD or lower, although if you look at the demographics of people who use computers for music and graphics they probably have higher spec equipment than the average user…

Overall there's still way more Windows machines out there than Macs :)

In terms of client of music software, I'm not that sure. But sure you can find what you want to fit your narrative

@otristan if I make a sample layer and then duplicate the key group, and select them both, the sample OSC module collapses to no longer show the sample area. This makes sense because they might be different samples... but would you consider making it possible to drag and drop a sample onto the batch sample module to set the sample for all selected oscillators?

Reason being is I am making an instrument that has the same sample across multiple key groups, so each key group can have its own effects chain. If I want to change the sample though, I have to update each key group's oscillator individually. I'd like to be able to change them out all at once so it goes a lot faster (so I can try different samples with the pre-programmed effects chains).

(or is there some other quick way to accomplish what I want? updating the sample across a bunch of key groups at once)

edit: it would be nice to be able to adjust all of the sample oscillators if they're the same, e.g. to adjust the start point. Right now I have to get the details (sample and start point) right up front, and then copy them over. But if I want to change them after the fact, it's a pain.

Anyone know how do we lock Midi Learn Settings? So everytime I load Falcon up, it remembers my controller settings?
As of now, if I midi learn a patch, then switch to a new preset, my controller settings are gone.... Please tell me,I'm missing something here.

So, any more info on this ?

You have to save the patch, those assignments are not global but per patch. Same with assigning Macros to host automation.

Batch sample DnD is a very specific use case and is more error prone is general case so I'm reluctant to support it.

Work in progress. We have working in-house version though.
Should be there by the end of the month or beginning of April.

That's a terrible design, thanks for confirming this. So in other words,if we wanted to map patches, we would have to save every single patch. Complete shit design. I requested this years ago, at least the ability to globally map a single library.
Thanks UVI great job. No program changes, and you can't efficiently map the plugins. Falcon needs a complete overhaul.
