OK this is one VST2 plugin I will miss dearly if Cubase dumps them, I have a temp solution, but really I would like to replace it with something similar and that does the same thing IN the same manner.
So what could I use to replace it, ideas ?

I would love a good alternative but sadly I've not seen anything that does it all in one little box like CamelPhat did.
The Nomad LSD thingey is waaay overpriced at $179!

I use the distortion section with the filter and the XY and the BP along with the compressor and that magic EQPloki wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 5:34 pm Maybe tell us what you use the most in CamelPhat and what you use the least?
I don't really use the flanger or the LFO

Minimal Audio's Rift 2.0 isn't exactly like CamelPhat, but it covers a lot of the same territory and much more. I absolutely adore the distortion and saturation algorithms in combination with the filter morphing. Rift has also almost completely replaced iZotope's Trash 2 in my various Logic templates. Another great option for distortion in Output's Thermal. The X/Y pad makes automating effects a lot of fun!!

OK I will look into Rift 2, definitely not considered it because it hasn't got a demo right ? Or did I get that wrong.
Zebrify... Hadn't even considered that tbh not sure about it's distortion though , I honestly can't remember.
Is the Rift on Splice V2 ? Anyone know ?

RC20 might be a good shout. Looks interesting.Ploki wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 10:06 am Uhbik maybe… the Runciter filter is my fav dirty filter.
It also comes with a nifty compressor.
RC20? Has bandpass and few distortions. Also neat
Uhbik are good plugs, but I kinda wanted an all in one thing, like Cphat.

ChowDSP just released BYOD - Build Your Own Distortion. A modular effects unit.
I've not had a chance to look at this yet (still at work), so I can't say what ground the modules cover, but it looks like there are many... It's also free
