Has anyone received the Free Virtual Instruments Collection from East West Sounds Online? The offer says it ships by "Federal Express in 1-2 business days". It's been over a week. I can't get a response from East West Sounds Online and FedEx says there is no package for me.

Yep, I have. I ordered it about 9 days ago, I think, and got it yesterday (along with QLSO Gold which I ordered 8 days ago).

It's an item you can purchase at the soundsonline site. All you have to pay is shipping - it's not related to QLSO Gold or anything like that. Basically, it includes specialized Kompakt and Intakt players with a *very* small library of sounds from different East West/Best Service/whatever products. The selected patches I got (I'm not sure if its different for every person) are pretty cool, and I've already used some of the Stormdrum hits in a project of mine.

Okay, I got my CD yesterday. I will try to load up some stuff tonight, but I might have to wait until the weekend to give a good report. Anybody else get this?

I got the CD yesterday. Kompakt is OK. The samples are OK. I'm still trying to get the timpani out of the cello.
Intakt is more of a toy to me, but a few of the slices are useful.

i got my demo disk the other day. not bad, really. in some cases, i would have liked for them to have provided a bit more material but, overall, i think it does a pretty good job at giving me an idea of what their product line is like. which, of coure, was the point of the disk.
its raised my interest in a few products, and lowered my interest in others.
