No worries, it's not clear at all in the descriptions I've seen

If you are referring to this one, no. It's basically two identical multimode VCF's. Not modeled on the Polivocks style/chipset.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 7:43 pm Are the filters on the Erica Synths Black Dual VCF both Polivocks style filters?
The module seems to have had a price cut from £300 to just over half that.

Yes that one, oh shame I'd have liked two of those but have enough generic multimode style filters for now. Cheers for the info.Shabdahbriah wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 9:29 pmIf you are referring to this one, no. It's basically two identical multimode VCF's. i may have just accidentally (damn you mylar melodies) purchased a doepfer a 111 6. mini synth voice module.
10 hp, oscillators, filters, envelopes!
sounded gnarly, was cheap, will fill a corner in case 2!

Damn that’s impressive as all-in-one. I’m still working out how big my filter box needs to be, but I’m adding this to my list of maybes after QPAS and Overseer get lifted.vurt wrote: Fri Mar 11, 2022 11:35 pm i may have just accidentally (damn you mylar melodies) purchased a doepfer a 111 6. mini synth voice module.

I've been hankering after the BMonoPoly for a while now and I think my wallet fingers are itching. Can't hold off any longer. Nearest store is in Auckland though, which is 3hrs away. I've bought hw synths before and had them couriered with no problem but I think I might have to take a drive down to the shitty city. I could do with buying more midi leads etc. We have a couple of music shops up here but last time I was in - they didn't even have 3m midi cables in stock! Hardly had any midi cables at all - which speaks volumes to the kind of music shop it is (full of hairy tattooed types dressed in black with javelins pierced through their noses).
At least in Auckland they might have other goodies for me to have a play on too.

An idiot on Set Theory:

In the back of my head, Im thinking that 4 of them would make a nice little Korg Mono/Poly -esque thing (in terms of architecture, not sound) in a skiff.

Couple of modules off Reverb that were going cheap, a EMW VCO 102 which is just a basic saw/square very analogue voice with decent PWM control that will probably end up doing dirty bass-line duty and a Doepfer SEM filter because I ran out of reasons not to pick one up.
