WAV file error detection / correction - audio dropouts

Hi all,

I'm looking for recommendations on the above.

I have Adobe Audition which I use for wav editing, mastering and the like... I'm particularly interested in the ability to detect small digital dropouts in audio, which is something I've encountered problems with in the past due to my computer being in a less than optimal state during rendering from Reaper or other DAWs. [something I've since fixed but still have many recordings I'd like to check for peace of mind]

I've looked at the analysis section in audition and it doesn't specifically seem to look for audio dropouts (does clicks alright).

Mainly, I'd like to be able to detect digital silence dropouts down to a fairly low duration, maybe 5 - 10ms but of course without too many false positives.

I hear wavelab can do this but really don't want to have to get something as big as that and am already very happy with audition for everything else.

In truth I'm more interested in detection than correction since I'd most likely re-render the files if I did find any issues. Hoping for a fairly light-weight tool that can do batch analysis.

So... can anyone suggest a good analysis/detection tool that might suit?

OR... am I missing something in Audition? I currently have CC2019 since I'm naturally resistant to installing the latest versions from Adobe just for the sake of it, unless this kind of functionality has been added.
