@muki Electric Mistress ultimately deserves its own thing for once. A standalone focused emulation like Dr. Phase. And hopefully with no tone suck / volume loss like the original circuit flaw.

Same for Boss CE 1/2. I wish someone else from UAD had CE-1. And the preamp section, before we even get to the chorus part, is another story entirely. That Pedal Show had an episode on chorus pedals, fookin' A this thing. Smoked WAZA reissue, yet Japanese made original CE-2 still held its own against 1976 OG. Both have their signature quirks that make them great in their own right.

Sorry for derailing. Back to Pyros.

Tube Modulator is choke full of gorgeous chorus too...

Tube Modulator is a great effect, excellent precise panner & lush modulations.

Better double-clicking (or just clicking anywhere outside the dropdown list. If I want to try different algorithms, it would be annoying to have to open the list again and scroll to the next item. Also, you need to click once onto an entry to be able to step through the algorithms.
Or some additional back/forwards arrows next to the algorithm name so you can step through the options without opening the list.

Sknote has a "C2 chorus" in their pedal bench and Fuse Audio VPB bundle includes DOD FX65, which although not precisely the same does get you in the ballpark, and on sale the VPB bundle is amazing value. It's purported the DOD FX60 is a direct match to the CE-2. I've got a hardware DOD FX64 "Ice Box" pedal which is certainly unique, perhaps more for the Jason Lamb era graphics.

To keep this on topic, I'd buy sight unseen if Audiority put out one of those classic 80s-90s chorus pedals. I'm a bit of a sucker for those.

For those who originally purchased The Abuser and still have projects with it: we created a LEGACY INSTALLERS section at the bottom of the "My Plugins" section of your account. From there you will be able to download the installers and license file for The Abuser.

Ok, I have to tell this: I just got an email from a person who hasn't purchased the product because he found the GUI to be passive aggressive. I honestly don't know how to react. :o

What about offering exchangeable GUI with burning hearth, drawsy red lips etc. stuff.

In this way ”Pyros” creates alternative connotation.

Don’t react at all. It will get worse for another two or three years but we as a global society will get back to the point where we all assume good intentions until proven otherwise. It’s an essential principle developed over thousands of years and we will rediscover the wisdom of this principle.

Currently, being triggered and shaming and criticizing other people is worth more in social currency than creating, building and affecting change where it is actually needed.

Not only that. We are now morbidly fortunate in the age of telecom tech to be able to hear voices that never would have surfaced before, and as such are privvy in the fullest to the entire spectrum of character around us. We are saturated by freakazoidery.

Aye, sounds like a troll thats playing funny due to the name change.

Luca - Did they say why they considered the GUI to be 'passive aggressive' or did they give you precisely nothing other than that ?! Incidentally what was the previous thing you mentioned about someone flagging that the colour of the GUI of the old version needing to be changed for some reason ....

This.

Apologising or trying to understand their position will only result in more concern trolling. Just ignore. Changing the product in the first place probably wasn't the best move even if it came from a position of compassion on your part. If it continues, there are other things can can be done.

I am really sorry that you are experiencing this, Luca. You don't deserve it. You're a great developer and have brought some of the best processing effects to market that I've ever heard. The sounds you bring to the table are things that I could only dream of 20 years ago. So don't let this nonsense detract from your obvious passion.

As far as I'm concerned, you can call your plugins anything you like and make them look exactly as you wish. The sound speaks for itself.
