Looks like PA released native VST2s also. Yay!

Neither PA-Installation-Manager nor Softube Central are native.

None of the PA changelogs have been updated yet, and their installer stupidly has no version numbers listed. I'll be able to put in the versions of what I own, but am looking for the other version numbers.

Also, I'm going to include these under their separate developers, but add "(Plugin Alliance)" to the developer name.

Softube change logs are updated: https://www.softube.com/support/change-log/2-5-38

Since they have a large catalog, I'd really like some sort of confirmation that everything is native. The 8 plugins I own were updated.
Have a look here. Looks like everything there is at version 2.5.38.

You beat me to it. I just found that. But thanks!

Ok, so for PA, here's what's NOT updated according to their installer:

ADPTR AUDIO (all)
Bettermaker EQ232D
Brainworx BX Style Creator Mastering, bx_crispytuner
Dear Reality (all)
DS Audio (all)
elysia Phil's Cascade
fielder audio stage
Lindel Audio (all)
Louder Than Liftoff Chop Shop
NEOLD (all)
PA FREE Double MS
Schoeps Mono Upmix
SPL Hawkeye
Unfiltered Audio (all)
Wedge Force Matcha

And this is frustrating. NEOLD Warble is native. But it's not listed in their "Native M1 Products" category.

Don't I recall hearing that they had Apple Silicon builds for Unfiltered for a while now and had just been sitting on them? Hopefully these are just day 1 hiccups and most of the remaining items are added outside of the ones they indicated wouldn't be ready on day 1 (like CrispyTuner).

I got the same the first time (and rebooted after installing) - still Intel.
I ran the installer again, and I got the native versions properly (confirmed).
Huh - I re-downloaded and installed a second time and also got native version this time.

Unfortunately, DS and UA stuff is not native yet.
I’m running thorn native.

Have had for months?

Just installed Softube central on my M1Max to install the few plugins I have of theirs but it fails to install the license helper so I can’t login or install any plugins. Anyone else dealing with this? Any fix?

Normally a Reboot of the Mac sorts this out for me. If not you can download the individual installers from here - https://www.softube.com/installer-mac

Don't forget, PA haven't actually *announced* this M1 update availability yet, not even a "hey, go get some M1 native updates" post on Facebook, so it's entirely possible they are just getting all this stuff together and new builds will be added to the installer before they do a proper announcement it's ready to go...

PA updated their change logs. All M1 builds in their Installation Manager are up, with version numbers. There are a few more that remain up, but are not officially listed in the installer, but are nevertheless native.

Since the native builds of Thorn and Tantra 2 are not officially available anywhere, I'm not posting them yet. Anyone who has them got them directly from Dmitry or from someone who got them from Dmitry.

They updated this page yesterday and it leaves out Unfiltered Audio, Lindell and others...so it looks like if you want "official" builds of those, like me, you're going to be left waiting.

Really wondering what's up with DS Audio. Dmitry told me that he was just waiting on PA to get his builds up. He's had them ready since mid-2021. But no builds are in sight.

Almost makes me wonder if he is having some sort of conflict with PA, and wants to pull out. If I had to guess, I bet he's making far less money now than he was on his own, due to PA's constant $29/$39 sales. That's less than half what Dmitry used to charge, plus PA takes a cut. None but a fool buys a PA plugin at full price.

Just asked DS Audio for the Thorn native binaries today and along with the files he told me that "Plugin Alliance will soon provide M1 installers for all plugins".

They put up that page in January to inform people the M1 update is coming, and it doesn't look like it's changed significantly since then, so I'm not sure what they updated yesterday. It still starts with "The upcoming M1 update...".

I recall the January version of that page having a short list of plugins that weren't going to be ready for day 1. I don't recall Lindell or UA previously being mentioned as not being available. Now they are (by their omission).

AND considering the information on that page matches up with today's release, I think we can assume it's accurate and the update they made yesterday was to get the most recent info out that corresponded to today's release. There's still no Unfiltered Audio or Lindell as indicated on that page and they're still not released. I doubt they're coming out tomorrow.
