Waves Update Plan is one of the reasons I want to avoid waves. So even if they become natively M1 compatible I still want to find alternative plugins

With regards to WUP, you know you don't need to purchase it, your plugins wont stop working if you don't.

I own about half the plugins on that list, and they're already M1 compatible.
I'd ass-ume that all the Waves plugins would already be silicon native.
